The race for the top 4 in the Premier League is one that clubs struggle for every year, as it comes with considerable financial backing. A spot in the top 4 of the Premier League guarantees Champions League play and with that numerous financial incentives. In addition it is the most coveted competition in Europe that has a long history of the worlds best teams competing in it from every league in Europe.
The race for a spot in the top 4 has primarily always been between what everyone regards as the "top 6" or the Premier League best teams year in and year out. These clubs include Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham. I will be diving into each teams chances of making the Champions League and whether or not they will make in impact in the Champions League next season.
Manchester City
Manchester City currently sit at the top of the table with 73 points with 8 games to go, they have a fairly relaxed remaining schedule besides Liverpool who they play next. The chances of them qualifying are the highest of any team. It would take nothing less than that of a disaster for them to not qualify. As for there impact they could have in the Champions League, they are always contenders for the trophy but always seem to miss out on winning the entire competition. This squad however has one of the best coaches in Pep Guardiola and some of the best players in the world, so it would be no surprise if they go onto win it next season.

Manchester United
Manchester United are arguably the worst in the top 6 currently. In fact they actually sit 7th in the table behind West ham, who are having a good season. Manchester United have fallen off their usual form ever since Sir Alex Fergusson retired as manager. They only have 7 games left to play and have only accumulated 51 points. They also have to play 3 of the top 6 in those remaining games so chances of qualification for the Champions League are low. Even if they do qualify there is little they can do in the Champions League, as they are a team that is lacking squad depth, so I don't see them making it out of the group stage.

Liverpool
Liverpool currently sit second with 72 points and 8 games to go with a huge match against Manchester City next. Liverpool are a team in full stride having won their last 5 Premier League games. They have a harder schedule then most teams, but they are also better than most teams ,so it would be no shock if they even won the league. If they do qualify for the Champions League, they are always contenders for the trophy and actually recently won it in 2019.
Chance of top 4: 95%
Arsenal
Arsenal have 54 points with 8 games to go and have a rough schedule ahead. They play Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham. The chances of them making top 4 will be close ,but it is possible. In the Champions League however I can't see them make it past the round of 16 if they do qualify.
Chance of top 4: 49%
Chelsea
Chelsea sit 3rd with 62 points and 8 games to go. They have had a strong showing this season and have made a strong push for the top 4. In the Champions League they are the current champions and have a strong squad, if they qualify they are certain to go far.
Chances of top 4: 80%
Tottenham
Tottenham currently sit 4th with 54 points and only edge out Arsenal on goal differential. They have a fairly relaxed remaining schedule , but they have to play Arsenal one last time before the season ends. This match could decide there fait in the race for the top 4. If they do qualify, there hopes of winning the Champions League are small and it would take a mishap for them to win it.
